How to Use Your CaptureCards

Hi — we're the TrueClean team.
Set Up Your Cards
Open the box

Old box or new box — the same cards inside: 4 sealed pouches, one card in each.
Tear one pouch at the notch

Take out the green card.
Do not cut the card

The card works closed. If you open it, it stops catching. You open it once — at month 3, to look inside.
Place your 4 cards like this
Keep cards 10–20 inches from your head: close enough to lure mites away from you, far enough to stay off your nose. Cover as much of the bed as you can.

Slide each card flat — you will not feel it. More cards? Use 2 per pillow and spread the rest over the bed. Sofas: 1–2. Pet beds: 1.
Done. Set a 90-day reminder
Replace each card within 3 months.
- ✎︎Today, write down how you wake up — nose, sneezes, skin. You will compare at day 90.
- ↔︎Move each card monthly, so it traps more. A hand's width is enough.
How to See the Dust Mites
Optional. Do this at month 3 — not before. An early cut shows nothing and stops the card.
First, three things to understand:
- 1A dust mite is 0.3 mm and almost transparent. You cannot see one by eye.
- 2We added mite food with a dye inside. Mites that feed enough on it become visible — as dark specks.
- 3Not all mites feed enough to show. Specks need a lot of mites — not every home has that many.

What you are looking for: dyed mites on the white pad.
You may see specks. You may see none. Both are normal.
- ✗No backlight. The light must shine up through the pad.
- ✗The room is not dark enough.
- ✗Zoom under 10x. Use the newest phone in the house.
- ✗The card was cut before 3 full months.
- ✗That spot had few mites. Give the next card a new spot.
- ✓Or your home has few mites. Good news — the card still catches the ones near you.
Cut the card open

Cut one edge with scissors and pull out the insert — a yellow mesh sheet with a white pad.
Light it from below

Turn on your phone's flashlight and lay the phone on a table, light facing up. Stand a clear glass on the phone. Lay the insert flat on the rim — the light shines up through the glass and the pad.
Zoom in from above

Make the room dark. Take a second phone — anyone's in the house. Hold it above the pad and zoom to 10x. Move slowly — the specks look like pepper. Only one phone? Rest the insert on a bright laptop or tablet screen and zoom with yours.
Then bin it all and wash your hands.
